Blue Northern Trading Company's
Fishing Reports

June 18, 2004

Last night was a wonderful experience on the West Canada Creek.  There
were a million March Brown Spinners in the air.  They came down at about
9:00 or so, but not too many fish feeding on top.  Caught two small fish
on Trout Ticklers (you can see this fly on the Fly Shop Home Page).  If
any of you are going to enjoy yourself this weekend by fly fishing here
is what is happening.

West Canada/ Black River and Mohwak Valley.

All rivers running normal, the WC.  is running at 450 cfs, which is a
low flow.  Lots of fish feeding on top this weekend, probably....

try these:

size 12 rusty spinners
size 12 march brown rusty spinners
size 20 dark midges
size 16 sulphers
size 10 cream or golden drakes....

sorry green drakes are don.

caddis size 16 brown
caddis size 12 gray

get ready for Light Cahills, Sulphers, golden drakes and brown drakes.....

Good Luck.

JP
