Whether you are in hot pursuit of tarpon or quietly stocking native brook trout in a small New England stream, you will find that the fly fishing department at Blue Northern is extremely well stocked with all the quality products you will need.   In fact, we believe we have the finest selection of quality fly fishing products in New England.  We invite you to visit us and meet our service oriented staff, some of whom are local guides and are available to assist you in the selection and use of fly fishing and fly tying supplies.  They may even share a secret spot or fly with you.

Blue Northern -Half Day-Fly Casting Clinic

Date: May 8th 2005
Time: 9:-12:00  & 1:pm -4:30PM
Price $65.00 per person.
This clinic  covers (hands on) casting only.

The half day morning or afternoon class will be taught by two certified   Instructors on a water facility near  the store . In the class you will learn the following casting skills:  Roll Casting, Pickup & Laydown, False Casting, Lengthening Line and Shooting Casts, Line Controlling Casts, Double Haul Casting.

Blue Northern -Full Day Fly Fishing Clinic

Dates:  May 1st & May 15th 2005
Price $125.00  All equipment supplied.

In this class you will learn about Fly Casting dynamics   from roll casting to double haul.  Present will be two certified Fly Fishing Instructors who will walk you through Fly Fishing Knots, Tackle & its history, Entomology and Fly Selection and Fly Fishing Strategies.  Emphasis is placed on providing low student -to-instructor ratios insuring a personalized experience that attends to each student's needs and interest. 

 

Class includes continental breakfast
and lunch.
Call for reservations,
Students limited to 10 per class.
